Greetings! I am Charan K.S, a PhD candidate exploring the captivating realms of Geropsychology. Fuelled by an insatiable curiosity about the ageing process and its connection to ageism, I am immersed in the exciting pursuit of uncovering the intricacies of ageism mechanisms in diverse cultures. My research goal is to understand how the ageing process changes on a daily basis and to develop a novel intervention to reduce ageism. With a robust background in methodology and a keen interest in technology, I aim to employ cognitive skill training and exergame interventions in immersive virtual reality technology to address challenges in my field.

Beyond books and experiments, you will find me enjoying sunsets or watching movies. I actively participate and collaborate with other scholars in the diverse disciplines of psychology. I hold my academic journey in high regard as I strive to push boundaries and make meaningful contributions to the ever-evolving landscape of ageing.
